ABCDARUM |
Dugord (IR) 2013 |
In October, 2012 I have J. M. Calleja met during a conference of the international visual
poetry in the Contemporary Art Museum Barcelona and spoke about a collaboration. It should be an ABCdarum. Calleja should sketch the first poem, I would answer this poem, he again on my poem etcetera. The concept was that we begin with one letter of the alphabet, and from poem to poem another letter should come and already used letters might be repeated. Thus originated 26 poems, 13 of Calleja (even page-numbers) and 13 of Dencker (odd page-numbers). The story of the ABCdarum is a play with letters, words and picture-motives. An open play that space leaves to the viewer to search there his own story although the offered linguistic material and pictures has calculated and has been brought in a form in which chance and intention keep the scales. |
